yes, yet another post about the addiction known as turntable.fm. This site has recently spawned a competitor, and has been able to secure support from record companies, as well as go worldwide (recent reports state that this worldwide takeover will take approximately two years), and yet there are many out there in the interwebs that has no idea a site like this exists (a recent visitor to a room I frequent stated that he'd only found out about turntable after searching for coding jobs on Google). The site has made some improvements and changes since I last talked about it - they've introduced "laptop stickers", added more songs to their library, changed their graphical look (slighlty), especially when checking out someone else's profile, and has supposedly decreased the loading time they have been struggling to deal with for the past year or so. Here's hoping for more improvements in the future :)

Adventures of Online Dating
So, it is the 15th, and as of yet with my profile I have yet to receive any communication from anybody, haha. So, with that said, I began to cull those who had been on my list for over a month and hadn't written back to me if I'd communicated to them, people who'd been on my list for a month, period, and others who for some reason or another just didn't seem to fly with me. However, I did communicate with some over the new "questions" feature they have, as well as sending some email about relatively safe topics, so we shall see if any write me back.
Turntable.fm
So last year I found myself begging a friend for an invite into the beta, and I'm going to be honest - turntable.fm is addictive as Hell. While in beta there may have only been one or two extensions for use (and most of those for Chrome,) there are now extensions for Firefox as well.
If you haven't checked it out yet, definitely give it a try. You'll be glad you did. :)

Adventures of Online Dating, Part - You know what? Forget it
So once again, I decided to take the initiative and sent out another message to a potential date talking about a professional team we both like. While he did check out my profile almost immediately after I sent it, he didn't write me back. I am such a sad panda right now. Really. No joke.

Online Dating: Day 3
So yeah. Nothing really new to report, other than in some of the profiles that I've viewed, the person in them is just trying too hard. Look man, I know you're trying to show all the activities you take part in with your full-body photos - that's nice. What I don't want to see is that you...erm...'lean' to the left. I don't need to know that shit, and neither does anyone else at this point. Day-um.

Online Dating, Day 1: Danger, Danger!
So, I checked my profile today on my site and have gotten six views so far. I don't know whether or not I mentioned this yesterday, but I checked out this guys profile and sent him a message saying "hey man, what's up?" LOL, according to a friend of mine, that isn't the best way to message someone when looking at potentially starting a relationship (hey all, I'm new at this shit guys - haven't really been in an "actual" relationship, so...yeah.) Should be interesting to see how this works out...

New Happenings...
2012 has started out with a bang for me so far. One of my jobs dropped me to a measly six hours a week; however, I have some promising interviews lined up so hopefully one of them pans out. I also have (LMAO) joined a dating site, which I'm sure will provide me with many laughs.
I have also made a couple of New Years' resolutions to myself; the first one is to work out at least once a day. While that one has been broken, I have been working out more in order to better myself physically. The other one was to cut soda and energy drinks out of my daily life ENTIRELY, and I am happy to say that so far I have succeeded - drank the rest of my caffinated stash on New Year's Eve and quit cold turkey afterwords. So that's what's going on with me. Hopefully this year will be everything 2011 wasn't for me - better.
