Lifehacker has published an article about the possible setbacks of relying on facebooks new messenger/email/world domination service, (just released yesterday) and I have to say they raise a number of salient points. They also, of course, have a counterpoint article as to why you should try it, found here. IMO while it would be an interesting system to try, I don't think it would be something I would use religiously.
What are your opinions about it?

I hate facebook. Thats the only reason I need not to get excited about this new messaging junk.
I hate facebook because only bad things have ever come out of it for me.
there will always be problems.
never use the service until they secure it.
