Insanity Fit Test

Today, instead of doing a round of P90X Yoga, I decided to do something different.
That "something different" was the Insanity Fit Test, and In 30 minutes it pretty much wiped the floor with me. Holy mother of God...and it was JUST the Fit Test!
My heart rate was in the 150-160 range the whole time, which was good. I'm glad I didn't try to do it before I had started P90X, or it probably would have killed me, haha.

Apparently my muse has returned...

because I found myself writing some fanfiction based on Rizzoli and Isles this morning (The show is on TNT, right after The Closer.)

I'll probably post my fanfic here too for shits and giggles. If I do, feel free to comment on it, good or bad. :)

What to write...

Well, I won't be mentioning anything about work, that's for sure, lol. That's pretty much off limits, and while there is a boatload of drama there (as there is at any workplace), it's not worth me getting into, even though I'm sure I could script a pilot and send it to a network, lol, a la "Ice Road Truckers", "Cake Boss", etc, haha!

Lol...anyways, Now that my vehicle has passed inspection, I find myself with another bunch of choices to make, some of which I can't mention, because...I can't mention them. Never count your chicks before they hatch, and all that. I AM looking at getting a full time job during the day though, working in the mental health field, just to get my foot in the door and get some real experience. It only makes sense as that's what my major is in.
I am planning on sticking with P90X as well as I'm able to, because mainly with my work schedule and class picking up again, as well as studying up on my math (long story) I'm going to lose some time, and looking at the one class I'm taking...holy cow it's probably a good thing that I insisted on only taking one class, LMAO! I can tell already it's going to take up a lot of time.

Thinking ahead, I have to talk with some people at my Alma Mater about perhaps going back there for another degree, which I'll probably be doing in a couple of weeks when I head back there for a couple of days (and trust me, I cannot WAIT to go, lol)

Thanks for reading...and if you could, could you click on one of those links? :) That would make me happy (No, you don't have to buy anything, lol) Also, I think I'm going to start posting my P90X experiences here too, lol, so if that's something you're interested in trying, keep an eye out! :)

Today is my birthday...

I'm about to have a number of close friends and family over, which should be pretty cool. In other news, my vehicle passed inspection, which is a HUGE weight off of my chest. The last thing I needed was for it to fail, but I will have to put some more money into it (I'm thinking probably the front brakes next) but hey, gotta do what I gotta do.

This last year and a few months has been rough on me personally, and some of that is my own doing. I admittedly didn't want to come back home from Boston as there is very little for me here, other than family and close friends. Going back to the job I left just to make ends meet is also something I didn't want to do, but when one needs money to pay the bills, one has to do what one has to do.

Even though this is where I'm physically living, Boston's always going to be my home. :) Now I get to look forward to doing P90X later. :) Yay!

So...where do I begin...?

Recently, I've had a lot on my plate. Worrying about a vehicle, about employment, about school, about trying to find enough time in the day to get everything done that I want to get done...and the seasons turn, and the year rolls by...and it seems like I'm getting nothing at all accomplished. This irritates me, and has caused a LOT of stress for me, some of it completely unnecessary but in other areas stress that I have brought upon myself due to choices I've made which haven't been the greatest.

Financially and job wise, I'm not where I want to be. I'm getting better, but nothing worthwhile is ever easy and I just have to keep reminding myself of that now and again. One of these days I'll make it work for me, instead of the other way around, and then I will be able to be proud of myself and what I've accomplished.

Hello world!

Well, I think this is going to be one of my main homes on the web. I'm probably going to add some posts from another blog I have set up, talking about P90X and the like, because that's what I've written a lot about, as well as other things that pique my interest.
